I have heard about the benefits of having a weighted blanket but have held off buying one due to how expensive they are. This blanket was really affordable so I gave it a shot.I fall asleep almost instantly due to the soothing weight and cooling material of the blanket. It is unbelievably comfortable, cooling, extremely well made and durable.I would definitely recommend (with one exception)!!!!The only issue I have is that the queen blanket only covers the surface area of my queen mattress. While not necessarily a con, it is probably better for someone who doesn’t share a bed with another person. However, for my husband and I, we constantly battle for the blanket throughout the night and, pulling a 20lb blanket from one side of the bed to the other, is a massive workout!!!Also, my husband does not seem to like the blanket as much as I do. Normally, I would just fold the blanket in half and put it on my side of the bed but, due to the weight, it is not advised.Personally, I wish I would have purchased a smaller weighted throw blanket to start with.

It’s 55in long and normally such a small difference wouldn’t be a big deal but I’m 5’7″ (67″ tall) and this blanket is for me. So instead of just my head poking out my feet do too, so it’s just about 5-6inches shorter than would have been perfect.I previously had a very heavy weighted blanket at least 20lbs. I got sick of the struggle to adjust it while half asleep. I was nervous this one wouldn’t provide enough weight to relax me, but it does. It is just the right amount of weight to make me feel more relaxed and allow me to move it while half asleep without all the struggle. My wife hates weighted blankets so I can say the width of this one is perfect for keeping your blanket on your side of a queen sized bed. Any wider and it will inevitably slide off the bed onto the floor. It feels really nice and it doesn’t seem to trap excess heat which is nice. Now I just wish I had a cover that tied to this one’s exact measurements but had a little extra length to cover my feet, which I wouldn’t need the extra weight there honestly just something to keep my feet from getting cold.

My Favorite Item Ever
I LOVE MY WEIGHTED BLANKET! I know this one is too heavy for my height and weight (per recommendations), but I require more pressure and have had zero issues. It doesn’t get too warm, which I need because I prefer to sleep in Arctic conditions. I have restless legs and anxiety, and this blanket helps calm me and keeps my legs still through the night. It has also been durable enough to survive many rounds in our washer. I have not purchased a duvet for it, but it does have the hooks if I decide to one day. Getting into bed with this weighted blanket is just the best.

My son loves his Christmas gift! I’ve never seen him sleep so deeply! I wrapped it around my shoulders and it was like a nice hug!! I’ll be looking for a smaller one for myself!! My son said, “Best gift ever mom!”. Not sure about the durability, as I haven’t washed it yet. But it seems to be a very good quality blanket. You won’t regret this purchase!

It is not evenly weighted. Less than a month and the beads keep moving from one chamber to other making one side heavy and lumpy.
