Mega wise precision food scale rechargeable with battery backup
We had an old kitchen scale, this one is wonderful and better! Easy clean, just damp wipe if you spill on it, pretty accurate too! I’m dieting so accuracy counts when I want all I can get or fill in whatever I’m measuring, I love eating, don’t want to starve, so every grain is a must!But this is a nice scale besides working great, it’s white, modern looking, and I got to add classy to my counter! It’s the one thing I love having to show off in my kitchen. Rechargeable is a must besides battery backup.

Great buy for a Food scale Especially for Sourdough beginners!
Just opened and used 1x to start my sourdough journey. Easy to use and light weight but seems durable and easy to store. I love that it barely takes up any space when stored. Was very happy that I could use it right away after installing the batteries, as they were fully charged and you can see the battery life to know when to charge. Has many weight measurement settings from Grams to Lbs. The only thing I dislike is the usb charger cord is so short and because of that it will dangle from block in the outlet while charging, which I don’t mind just finding a longer one so it’s not a deal breaker. Overall it’s a Great price!

So Far So Good
Update: It’s been four months of several times a week use and I haven’t had to charge it yet. Still accurate and working great! Highly recommend. ————I have been using my new scale for a few weeks and pleased thus far. I am the type to update if things change; if there’s no update, assume it’s still functioning fine. I have tested this out by weighing numerous things from the supermarket minus their packaging -seems consistent and accurate. I love that it has a tare function and the rechargeable battery (which I have not had to recharge yet). It’s super easy to use. The numbers will zero out once you remove the object from the scale. What I do is weigh my plate or bowl first and then press tare so it zeros out and add my food to be weighed. Sometimes, I will weigh the plate or bowl first, remove it from the scale but remember the weight in my head… add the food to the plate or bowl and then weigh again and minus weight of the plate/bowl. This method is good if you need to add something messy like kimchi and you don’t want to be doing it right on the scale. I’m doing a keto diet now and weighing really helps me keep a tighter rein on my carb count. I am very pleased to date with this scale -it is fairly accurate to within a gram or two. Unless you need dope dealer level accuracy, this scale works for weighing and measuring food for recipes and health tracking (like for those needing accurate measures to help count carbs for diabetes management, keto, etc.).

Good, but could be better
This is a nice scale. It looks stylish, it’s easy to clean, you can use it with batteries or just charge it via its USB-C port.Most of the time I get accurate readings. The issue comes when you want to measure stuff that is in the range of 1-5 grams, sometimes it will say “Nope” (not literally), and won’t give you the number.I weigh everything I eat, and there are some ingredients that need to be more precise than others in terms of amount, and this scale kind of disappoints in this scenarios.Overall, if you don’t need super precise low (1-5 grams approx) quantity readings, this scale is a very good option.
