I adore this curling iron. I love the length of the barrel, the 5 different temperature settings, and the ease of use. I curled a lot of hair between a production of Cinderella and prom and it worked great!

This is the best curling iron I’ve ever owned! The hair glides right on the iron, I keep it on the lowest heat setting and it curls amazingly. The cord is a perfect length, seems very comparable to my other curling irons. Buy this, you won’t regret it!

Great curling iron for long hair and overseas travel.
I purchased this for my sister who has long hair and occasionally travels overseas.She absolutely loves the long barrel and told me it worked perfectly on each of her out-of-country visits.It heats up quickly and thankfully has an automatic shut-off for those days you get rushed and forget to do it yourself.It has multiple heat settings which she really appreciates as well.Overall a great purchase!

I heard this was a good replica of a more popular (and much more expensive) Brand curling IrOn. I can’t speak to a comparison between them, as I bought this first and instead, but I can say that this one does keep my curls much longer than the many others I’ve tried over the years (both premium and non-$$ brands). The barrel is indeed long enough for any length hair, though if short, you may have some difficulty maneuvering it depending on your process/skill. Otherwise, the hair glides right through with plenty of room and no resistance. There are four or five heat settings, and while I typically use the hottest setting on most other tools, I found that I didn’t need to go that high in this case. I use one less than the hottest for my thick, shoulder blade length hair. My only complaint – which really doesn’t affect performance, per se – is in the construction of the item itself. It is VERY light, almost to the point of feeling toy-like, and maybe it’s a mental block, but that translates to low quality in my mind, even if it’s not true. Along the same lines, the cord is WAY TOO SHORT and is constantly getting tangled in itself. Again, neither of these things impact it’s ability to curl, but it’s these little touches that typically translate into a quality product. Obviously, I can overlook them here for the price.

I love this curling iron!!!
This 1in. long barrel curling iron works so good! I only have to split my hair in 2 sections to get the lower half and top half of my hair curled as shown in the picture. Sometimes I don’t split it in half and it still works, it just makes looser curls/ waves.

Possibly defective product
Curls great and heats up fast. I love the longer barrel. The coating on the clamp and barrel is peeling off already after 2 months of use. If trying to curl smaller sections of hair or thin hair the barrel doesn’t hold it very well. Iusually love the Lanvier products, but this one must be defective. Tried to take photos of peeling but every time I do it kicks me out of the review screen.

I’m happy with my purchase of this curling iron. Heats up to 450 fast makes nice curls. Only gave 4 stars because the off button is close to wear you handle it and shuts it off while your styling sometimes.

I’ve been really happy with this curling iron. The price was phenomenal for the quality! It heats up quickly and works really well at holding curls without needing to keep going over the same section of hair. One thing I really like is that it has multiple heat settings, so you can adjust it depending on your hair type or how defined you want your curls.It also has a built-in stand, which is such a helpful feature. You can set the iron down while it’s hot without worrying about the barrel touching your counter or floor and burning anything.I have only had this curling iron for a couple of weeks but so far it has held up well with no issues. I also love the little bag it comes in so it looks a lot cleaner in my drawer!

First off, I would like to mention that I’ve only used this curling iron once and so I cannot speak for the longevity of the product itself. I was debating buying another curling iron (almost double the price) but I’m really glad I went with this one for many reasons. Throughout my review, i compare it to my hot tools curling iron.Pros-Price is cheaper than higher-end brands and this curling iron really delivers! My hair curled so well AND held up.- The length of the barrel is so helpful. I have longer hair and I liked that I could wrap my hair around without doubling up in certain sections, this in turn made the curling process much quicker- heats up very quickly. I brought it up to the second highest setting and it was ready within minutes (light stops blinking when ready to use)-the weight of this curling iron is lighter than my hot tools, but doesn’t feel too cheap. Even though I do appreciate the weight of my hot tools curler (gives a sturdy security to the product), it seems that after a while, it is heavy on the wrist especially after 20-30 min of curling-the clasp is great. I read some of the other reviews saying that it was looser and it was recommended to take bigger sections of hair, but that was not the case with me at all. I even took very thin sections like my bangs and none of the hair fell out or snagged. Really impressed with the clasp on this tool.-long enough power cord. Although this cord is not as long as the Hot Tools, it’s definitely enough for me doing my hair on my own. I imagine if you were working at a salon, it might need more distance to travel to a client.-the rubber protective piece at bottom. I love that the protective piece at the bottom is coated in rubber it really helps ensure that when I put the curler down it’s not sliding. My Hot Tools is metal and oftentimes when I put it down it slides and could potentially fall.Cons-my hair smell burnt. As I mentioned earlier, I’ve only used this once and have read from multiple people that this smell does go away. Will update my review in a few weeks if this changes.As of right now, i would highly recommend this!

This is a really good curling iron and the long barrel is great and the main reason I chose this curling iron. Heats up fast and stays hot. Unfortunately, it just died today after only 14 months of use…and when I say 14 months, I mean I’ve had it for 14 months but I only used it a maximum of 3 times per week on average, and sometimes even less than that. Is this an average lifetime for a curling iron in this price range? I don’t know, but I guess maybe it is. This all said, I don’t think I’d recommend it. I’ve had curling irons last for years with way more use and in the same price range.

I just received this curling iron and I’m in love with it! I had a perfessional curling iron that I spent alot on and my curls would fall out just from walking out my house to the car . This curling iron cost way less , it heats up fast, makes amazing curls and they stay in my hair all day and still have some curl the next day. And just like to add I’m not big on using products in my hair to keep a curl so the pictures are just wash , dry and this curling iron. No products. Absolutely in love with it!!
