Great Price and solid value
Having the laptop display in a vertical position just like a desktop monitor is wonderful! This option greatly reduces user strain for me. The variable tilt positions of the stand allows the keyboard to be positioned in a way that all keys are viewable at the same time. The price is very affordable compared to others. I tried the stand with several different laptop computers and a couple of larger Workstation portables (HP and Lenovo brands). The only problem I found was with one workstation model which had a slanted bottom edge. That didn’t work well with the Stand’s rounded edges at the bottom. That one model was somewhat unstable with this BESIGN stand but all others that I tried were very stable!

Love that it folds up small for storage or travel
I bought this for my MacBook air because it tends to overheat and will shut off when it gets too hot. When I have my laptop on top of this stand I can do 1 hour+ meetings on it and it won’t shut off. It’s a really small and lightweight stand and is sturdy enough for my MacBook. I love that it folds up really small too so I can easily put it away when people are over, and it adjusts to many different heights. It’s just what I was looking for and works well. I would highly recommend this little stand.

SWEET little gadget.
This is a MUST have for your laptop case gadgets. It’s slim, compact, and has a sweet design to it. HOWEVER, it is made out of plastic. Which means that you wanna set your laptop on it gingerly when using it. Don’t just whack your laptop on top of it. I don’t know if making this riser out of some kind of metal would be difficult or just not cost effective. I paid under 7 bucks for this, but I’d pay quadruple that for this sweet, compact tool in a lightweight metal. PS, if you do keep it in your laptop case, I recommend leaving the riser in its little box. You can just slip it in with your laptop, no big hardship. This will help prevent accidentally bending, cracking, or breaking the riser under the weight of your laptop; or even just dropping the case.
