Can I use a Pixie Disc if I have a low, high, or tilted cervix?

Since Pixie Discs directly hug your cervix, they work with any type of cervix. Our string is ideal for those with a high cervix to make removal easier. If you have a shorter cervix, you can always trim the string to your preferred length!

Can I use a menstrual disc with an IUD?

Yes, IUD users with a low cervix can still use menstrual discs. You may even find them easier to insert and remove than menstrual cups. Just make sure your disc stays tucked behind your pubic bone during use and be gentle when pulling it out.

How do you insert it?

Squeeze the disc to where it looks like a figure 8. After lubricating the top of the disc, relax your pelvic floor muscles and gently insert it back as far as it will go. Using a finger, tuck the rim behind the pubic bone. Voila – you’re set!

How do I trim the string off?

Simply cut the string to your preferred length, and then file the silicone until it’s smooth!
