Sized for the home kitchen, easy to use, accurate, reasonable cost
First of all, the pictures shown on-line don’t do this kitchen scale justice. It is all simplicity, no unnecessary enhancements only what I need for food prep. And as a I am also a prolific crochet artist, I must weigh my leftover yarns when designing new projects. I weighed a recently completed table runner at 3.2 oz., then the leftover yarn 🧶 and it was exactly the total of the original 5 oz. skein. Now that’s ACCURACY my old mechanical scale could never provide!!!The battery compartment gets my highest rating as it does not require an itty-bitty screwdriver to open, just an ordinary easily pushed-open slide and the cover comes completely away. Batteries go in easily, same for replacing the compartment cover.The auto-shut off is also a good idea. In testing that feature, I found it takes just a bit shorter time to auto shut than manually pressing the off button when you finish weighing. As a cook, I’m often in the middle of prepping/cooking, perhaps with soiled hands & may not be able to press the off button right away. A good feature to save battery life.The operators manual is what all such manuals ought to emulate. It is concise, a fold-out about the size of a greeting card, clearly written, without superfluous wording. It has an all caps heading WARRANTY that simply states 2 years without the need to search the whole manual. Good job!Bottom line, if you need a decent, accurate kitchen scale without lots of bells & whistles for a reasonable price, I suggest you take a good look at this one. I’m so impressed with this scale & its simplicity I would buy this again. My old mechanical scale lasted more than 40 years with heavy usage. Time will tell this new scale’s longevity.

Good for advertised purpose, starts at low weights weighing correctly, but starts adding weight as you go up, about 5 grams at 100oz but seems to work well for intended purpose, food and kitchen items will be close enough.Item was packed well and shipped quickly.
