I have hair past my shoulders.For eons I had been wrapping my hair in a regular sized bath towel and doing a balancing act trying to keep it on my head while I moved around. So When I saw the photo of a very happily smiling woman with this wrap on her head- and read the positive reviews, I thought that this might work for me too. What arrived looked a bit unassuming- it was a triangular piece of terry fabric, and I was unimpressed. Then I used it for the first time…. I’m impressed. I got this hair towel in a tan color and it is very practical. It can be washed with light colors, does not show dirt and the color does not run. The finishing around the edge is bound with bias seam binding and is very sturdy. There is a thick elastic loop towards the base of the “hood” which secures the twisted towel portion. The towel is extremely soft to the touch and is not heavy, yet absorbs exceptionally well. I twisted the towel very tightly at first, but even a more gentle twist is very effective and gets the job done. I find that I can wear the towel for a short time and when I am ready to blow dry my hair the towel has wicked away quite a bit of water leaving my hair ready to be deal with. The towel itself is never excessively heavy or dripping wet. I hang it on a hook and it dries in no time. This is well made, sturdy and it works!

Terrific Hair Towel !
I’ve tried the synthetic hair towels that are so widely recommended by stylists, especially for those of us with curly hair. This bamboo/cotton towel is far superior to the synthetic ones. It is hands down, softer, gentler, more absorbent. The shape of this towel and the elastic on the tip, make it exceptionally easy to wrap onto the head and then it stays put perfectly with no fussing. After leaving my hair wrapped in this towel for 10-15 minutes, my hair dries in half the time as with a synthetic towel or a regular cotton towel. The synthetic towels develop a very unpleasant odor after several uses. Not these. No odor at all after over a year of constant use. Still fresh and clean smelling, soft and in “like new” condition. I’m back here on Amazon to purchase a second one of these hair towels. Not because there is anything wrong with the first one, but because I want a second for when one is in the laundry. If you’re unsure about your choice in a hair towel, make it this one. It’s a great product.

I have only had this towel for a few days but I really like it so far. I used to use a small thin towel that had to be over 25 years old. It worked because it was not bulky and heavy. But, after all of those years it became threadbare. I needed something new and I absolutely despise microfiber. When I found this I was excited. I read the reviews and was worried regarding the size, fit, the fact that it was not a flat towel but rather like a long hood-type thing, and the loop in the back. I decided to go ahead and order anyway since it was so inexpensive. So far, I am very happy. I have a medium sized head with longer than medium length thick hair. It fits perfect. No problem twisting it and it fits the loop easily. The loop is ELASTIC, not just fabric as other reviews state. It is nice and absorbent, comfortable, and not heavy at all. I believe this should work for just about everyone besides a very small head (like a child). Even with short hair you can just twist it tighter. I don’t leave reviews ever without an incentive, but here I am doing it free of charge. Good product…happy customer. Thank you

This hair towel is light-weight and moderately absorbent for my short, thick, curly hair. Regular bath towels are more absorbent but also large, heavy, and slip off my head. The hair towel dried moderately quickly. It’s easy to poke the end of the towel into the elastic loop in the back, which holds the towel securely. The light purple color is pretty, The bamboo fabric is soft and has maintained its softness through multiple uses and one time in the washing machine and dryer. I intend to take the hair towel with me traveling since it’s so light-weight and efficient.

Too short
It would probably be OK if I was a child but I’m a 66-year-old woman with a head full of curly hair. The end of the towel does not come close to the elastic strap. Very disappointed.

It’s a lovely colour, is nice and soft, and comfortably encloses my lower-back length hair. The little loop at the back to tuck the tip into is a nice touch.
